Salsa's Garden is the title of a coloured pencil drawing I made some years ago from a photo taken of our cat, Salsa, after he had wedged himself into a pottery bowl to look at our back garden. I chose it for the Community Centre Classes page because I could never have attempted such a drawing if it had not been for the encouragement of drawing class instructors at a local community centre where I enrolled many times as a student wanting to learn how to draw. Check out local community centre programs, specially if you are feeling a bit shy of returning to "formal" learning. Short courses and workshops are great for developing new skills or learning more about leisure opportunities in the Vancouver area.
